About Erguvan
Erguvan is an innovative technology company providing digital infrastructure solutions for the net-zero economy. Our two flagship solutions are:
ECM (Environmental Commodities Marketplace): A platform enabling transparent and efficient trading of renewable energy certificates (YEK-G, I-REC) and carbon credits.
Azalt (ESG Software): A comprehensive SaaS platform for carbon accounting, ESG reporting, and sustainability management.
With global offices in Istanbul, London, and Dubai, Erguvan empowers businesses to measure, trade, and reduce their environmental impact while delivering sustainable solutions.
About the Role
Scaling environmental markets is critical to achieving global climate goals, and we’re looking for a Carbon Markets Lead to drive the demand side of ECM. This role is remote and focused on helping buyers develop and execute their carbon credit and renewable energy strategies.
The key focus of this role will be client onboarding, ensuring new corporate buyers, financial institutions, and partners are seamlessly integrated into ECM. You will work closely with clients to identify their sustainability needs and build tailored solutions while establishing long-term partnerships that drive liquidity and trust within the marketplace.
What We Offer
Competitive Salary and Bonus: Performance-driven compensation structure.
Global Exposure: Represent Erguvan and ECM at industry-leading events and conferences.
Professional Growth: A collaborative, innovative work environment with opportunities to lead and influence market development.
Remote Flexibility: Work from anywhere with opportunities for periodic in-person collaboration and client meetings.
Inclusive Culture: A diverse, supportive team committed to sustainability and innovation.
Your Responsibilities
Lead the onboarding of new clients to the ECM platform, ensuring a seamless transition and delivering exceptional client experiences from day one.
Advise corporate buyers, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders on strategies for taking climate action through the ECM platform.
Build and maintain strong demand-side relationships, helping clients access high-quality carbon credits and renewable energy certificates (YEK-G, I-REC) that align with their sustainability goals.
Collaborate with Product, Supply, and Partnerships teams to deliver solutions that meet client requirements and streamline the onboarding journey.
Analyze carbon market trends, policy changes, and pricing dynamics to provide clients with data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
Facilitate a positive, client-focused experience, ensuring the successful implementation of solutions and fostering long-term engagement.
Act as the primary technical and strategic advisor for ECM clients, simplifying complex carbon market concepts and guiding them through their decision-making process.
Represent ECM at industry events and conferences, positioning it as a trusted platform for carbon credit and REC trading.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in carbon markets, renewable energy certificates, and voluntary carbon credits, with a deep understanding of client needs and market dynamics.
Proven expertise in client onboarding, with a track record of ensuring smooth transitions, building trust, and driving long-term engagement.
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical carbon concepts into clear and actionable insights for clients.
Demonstrated success in client-facing roles, including working directly with customers, project developers, and corporate sustainability teams.
Strong analytical and consultative abilities to identify client needs, develop tailored solutions, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Product, and Supply) to achieve commercial goals.
Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
Comfortable working in a remote environment, with flexibility to travel occasionally for client meetings or team collaboration.
