As Erguvan expands its operations in Dubai, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team. This role transcends traditional business development; it's about becoming an active player in carbon trading, expanding Erguvan’s ECM membership base, and leading the charge in the carbon markets.

ECM is a trading platform and integration hub designed to simplify the trading of environmental commodities, such as carbon credits and renewable energy certificates (RECs), enabling users to trade, innovate, and scale with ease.

Our clients include corporate off-setters, environmental commodity traders, financial institutions, hedge funds, asset managers, project developers, and other climate stakeholders across various industries.

The role involves educating companies about our platform and services, driving new memberships, managing ongoing client relationships, and guiding the flow of voluntary carbon market trade towards the innovative solutions offered by ECM.

This is a newly created dual-aspect role. You will be instrumental in driving our membership sales and executing carbon credit transactions.

Reporting directly to the CEO

Actively drive membership sales for ECM

Engaging in direct trading of carbon credits to corporate off-setters and other entities

Build and maintain strong relationships with environmental commodity traders, financial institutions, hedge funds, asset managers, and project developers.

Create and deliver presentation materials for existing and prospective clients meetings

Understand market fundamentals and trends and communicate these to clients

Lead and develop critical business initiatives through cross-functional partnerships

Structure deals and partnerships that improve ECM’s coverage

What we looking for

5 + years of experience in a related business function: business development, commodities trading, and environmental products structuring at consultancy firms, trading houses, or corporations.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders

Team player, eager to collaborate with a global team in a multicultural environment.

Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills, delivering across different time zones.

Analytical skills and sound judgment with the ability to present and draw conclusions.

Flexible and responsive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint and data analysis

A proactive, team-oriented individual with experience in both business development and environmental asset trading.

Someone who can effectively communicate the value of ECM to potential clients and close trades.

A professional who can manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

5 + years of experience in a related business function: business development, commodities trading, and environmental products structuring at consultancy firms, trading houses, or corporations.
